Passive Parameter

Passive [optional] : if "Yes", FTPSync uses passive mode connection to the FTP server; if "No", FTPSync uses active mode connection to the FTP server.

 

If "Unknown" (default), FTPSync will try to detect transfer mode and set the parameter accordingly. In general, you should leave this parameter blank and only set it if FTPSync can not determine appropriate mode by itself.

 

Example: Passive=No

 

Important: Auto detection of FTP mode only works, if source/destination directory is already created, otherwise it will fail.
